Mission Statement
Clinton County THRIVE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to engaging with business and community leaders in Clinton County to understand and address our community’s needs. Through sharing perspectives, collaboration, and strategic planning, our goal is to generate impactful ideas that drive better results and cultivate a county-wide business network. We are committed to fostering growth and enhancing the economic vitality of our community by bringing stakeholders together to identify challenges and develop solutions.
2025-2026 Initiatives
Community
A key initiative of Clinton County THRIVE is to have vibrant communities. For 2025-2026, we are focusing on the success of children. THRIVE wants to ensure as many children as possible have the supplies necessary to be successful in school. Our goal is to provide 200-500 backpacks to elementary schools within Clinton County. Funds will be accepted to purchase needed supplies for distribution to schools in August.
Business
Another important initiative is the success of businesses throughout Clinton County; businesses provide jobs, income for families, internships for college students, and products and services for everyone. The THRIVE focus for 2025-2026 is on new businesses, in their first 5 years. Clinton County THRIVE will accept donations to assist new business owners in the early stages of operation to insure a strong start and continued sustainability. This can be accomplished through connections to business and community leaders, partnerships in applying for grants, or funds to support events.
Environment
A third initiative is in preserving and beautifying Clinton County's downtown districts. We believe this is essential to ensure Clinton County is the best place to work and live. Clinton County has many great villages, townships, and cities with unique main streets, parks, and businesses. Clinton County THRIVE will partner with municipalities to preserve the authenticity of their downtown while making improvements to enhance its attraction to visitors.
